The cloud-based e-learning platform offers tailor-made solutions, from creating whole e-learning websites to author online courses as well as providing the right tools to sell them on a B2B/B2C function. Today, LearnWorlds has c.9000 customers in more than 140 countries and our team is fully remote. However, we also offer the option of working from the office for those who want to mix things up. We have offices in Athens, Crete, and Limassol.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager with strong creative and analytical skills, and extensive experience in managing software development, specifically with a focus on authoring tools.

At LearnWorlds, we consider the Product Manager to be the cornerstone of our mission, integrating strategic thinking, technical expertise, and user-centered design to deliver exceptional educational tools and e-learning experiences. 

In this pivotal role, you will dive deep into understanding user needs, analyzing data, and leading a cross-functional team to solve real customer problems. You will focus on further enhancing and expanding our suite of authoring tools, which includes an inherently powerful site builder, course creation environment, assessment and form builders, and marketing-focused tools like pop-up and funnel builders. You will deeply understand user needs, analyze data, and lead a cross-functional team to continuously improve these tools, ensuring our users can effortlessly create, manage, and market their educational content. From ideation to execution, you will ensure our product not only meets but surpasses user expectations, setting new standards in the e-learning industry.

You will closely collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers, refining and executing our product roadmap on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ideation, design, and development of user-centric features, deeply understanding customer issues, pains, desires, and needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, with a particular focus on AI technologies, and leverage this knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Be particularly engaged in the development and continuous improvement of our authoring and content creation tools.
  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs for prioritized features, ensuring clear and actionable plans.
  • Plan and execute product development cycles, including MVPs and incremental iterations, to bring innovative solutions to life.
  • Facilitate team backlog management and oversee successful product launches from planning to execution. Measure product usage and adoption post-launch, iterating as necessary based on user feedback.
  • Monitor and interpret user behavior data to inform product decisions, using insights to identify areas for improvement and drive product refinements.
  • Maintain and manage the product roadmap for our authoring tools, aligning intent with prioritization to achieve strategic goals.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities to enhance the value we deliver to the organization through improved authoring experiences.
  • Closely monitor and incorporate AI advancements into product strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization, building alignment and incorporating feedback to ensure the product roadmap meets business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management, preferably within a SaaS environment, with a focus on building and improving authoring tools or content creation environments.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to deeply understand user needs and interpret data insights. Capable of conducting comprehensive competitive analyses and applying insights to shape product strategy.
  • Expertise in researching and analyzing market needs, with experience in working with third parties on partnerships.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing product development cycles, delivering innovative solutions efficiently.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a product development team. Ability to lead, hold the team accountable, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Skilled in building alignment across teams and managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Deep understanding of software design and data structures, with the technical acumen to drive development forward.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, with a strong “can-do” attitude. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive decision-making, and achieve results.
  • Quick learner with a willingness to embrace feedback, adjust rapidly, and move forward with a positive attitude.
